The wait is over! Symphonic metal titans THERION finally release their new opera Beloved Antichrist today.
The three-hour-long opera, conceived for the stage, is loosely based on the Russian novel ‘Short Tale of the Antichrist’, which was brought to life with the help of 27 different vocal roles. THERION are currently working on the possibility of bringing the entire production to the stage – and while this monumental undertaking still simmers away in the production halls, the band has announced a pan-European tour taking them to 25 different countries, where they will perform some new and some classic THERION hits.
