BAND OF THE DAY: TIRADE

Published:

Brit alternative rock foursome TIRADE continue their upward trajectory with the release of their breathtaking new EP, Nothing Dramatic, out on Friday 30th August. The EP features the singles, No Time – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nreZ-lC6NeA , & To Be Honest – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9zeYS3-ZXI .

Formed in 2015, and rendering influence from a cluster of areas, panning from Press to MECO and Lower Than Atlantis, to Enter Shikariand Boston Manor, TIRADE cleverly bind intoxicating up-tempo alt-rock with contagious hooks and unique phrasing. Originally born out of University in Crewe, Cheshire, the infectious quartet recently relocated to Manchester, where they have already made their mark on the city’s buoyant music scene.

Since their inception, TIRADE have toured throughout the UK and mainland Europe, and in doing so, the band have shared stages with everyone from the likes of Decade, Press to MECO, Abandoned by Bears, SHVPES, Emarosa, Chapter and Verse, Youth Killed It, Grumble Bee, In Dynamics, and Normandie. The foursome have also received critical acclaim from Rock Sound, Kerrang! Radio, Upset Magazine, Discovered Magazine, Punktastic and Already Heard.

TIRADE are set to stride forward again with the release of their new EP, Nothing Dramatic. The EP is a colossal statement. Packed with intriguing guitar work, alluring vocals, and thoughtful arrangements, from back to front, the EP glows and cannot fail to ignite the senses. The band remark about the release: “We feel this EP is a reflection of all our individual and unified music tastes and is a step forward from our previous record. We took artistic influence from established bands such as Lower Than Atlantis or Don Broco, but ultimately this EP showcases all of the varied styles that each member brings to the table. The ‘Nothing Dramatic’ EP is an evolution in our combined songwriting abilities.”

TIRADE & Donnie Willow live: July 23rd – Glasgow; 25th – Leicester; 26th – Bristol; 27th Chelmsford, Essex; 28th – Manchester.
