Craig West, singer in Canadian Prog masters Machines Dream has an update for you all. Check it out.
The Fundervine Campaign.
Our crowdfunding campaign (through Fundervine) to finance the duplication of our second album has met – and exceeded – its goal!
Even better – since there is no upper limit on what can be raised – there is still time left to get the cool bonus stuff we have put together.
If you buy Immunity through Fundervine now, you will get an autographed and numbered copy of the CD, a t-shirt and a digital EP of bonus tracks, which you will be able to download.
The Lyric Contest
In addition to the Fundervine campaign, we are also running a very unique contest.
For those who are interested, if you fund the campaign, you can enter a contest to have a set of your lyrics put to music by Machines Dream and sent to you personally.
The winner will be drawn at random and will be announced on The Prog Mill radio show (www.staffordradio.com) by DJ Shaun Geraghty.
How does it work? Simply pre-order Immunity, then, email your name and your lyrics to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you win, we’ll contact you directly, and create a song just for you.All the information you need is as follows:

We continue rehearsing to play Indie Week in Toronto in October. We will be playing a 20 minute showcase set at The Bovine Sex Club in Toronto on October 17th from 10:00PM to 10:30PM. Since most of our songs are quite long, we’ve had to be ruthless in putting together a set list that we think will reflect who we are to people that have never heard us before.
Meanwhile, we have already begun writing songs for our third album, which we hope to begin recording in early 2015.
I think that’s it!
Thanks for supporting us,
Craig from Machines Dream.
