Hardcore Prog or Progressive Hardcore?
Emerging from Oslo – Norway, Deseized brings you an intense and crushing sound that merges the technicality of progressive metal with the swagger of hardcore. Right after forming in 2003, the five-piece group were instantly recognized as breath of fresh air to a scene largely dominated by black-metal acts, their debut album “The Trophy of our Demise” issued in 2009 garnered some splendid reactions from both press and fans.
Three years later, Deseized releases their sophomore album “Architects of our Demise” through Negative Vibe Records, an effort that cemented their position as one of the most promising metal bands from Norway.
Now in 2015, the band is ready to unleash a new EP titled “A Thousand Forms of Action”, once again via Norwegian label Negative Vibe. Recorded, mixed and produced by the band at different studios, “A Thousand Forms of Action” is the result of two years of meticulous songwriting and a strong determination to push their sound to new and higher levels.
