FEVER PITCH

Irish band looking to capture hearts and minds with their new album release.
Skyfever, as featured on BBC Across The Lines Introducing, Kerrang! Radio, Primordial Radio, Manx Radio and Planet Rock launch themselves into the mainstream with the release of their debut album ‘Is This The End Of The World‘ and reveal the new video to the title track.
Is This The End of The World is the lead single of Skyfever’s long awaited debut album.  The song was written in October 2019, long before the pandemic had hit and changed life as we know it. From the opening, the song has a sense of freedom, yearning and self-belief.  The fresh shades and vocals climax to a driving anthemic chorus – the otherwise dour statement of “Is This The End of The World” never felt so good!  As the song soars you can almost taste the summer freedoms that we all want back.  This isn’t about the end, it’s about leaving one world behind and entering a whole new beginning.
The band had just released their single ‘The Wait’ when the global pandemic began to take hold of peoples lives. With lyrics like “I just want to survive, I want to feel alive” … “every days a number” and “pushing through the storm”, the song is becoming an anthem of strength for so many!
Not only did they have this song written and album title decided since October 2019, they found a way during lockdown to finish off the spectacular array of songs that are on this release. And 2 lockdown videos too!
From the opening notes of the title track, you will feel a freedom not felt for a while in brand new music. The ‘rock’ is still there but they have added fresh shades to their fearless new sound. Skyfever making their big move to breakthrough in a time when music seems paused is a testament to their bravery.

Initially introduced to audiences by Alice Cooper and DJ’s at Premier League games, they have waited until the right moment to bring out a fresh and fearless new sound. They have amassed a die-hard fanbase in the UK and are only getting started on their great ambition to be the first Irish band in a long time to capture everyones hearts and minds.
These songs about finding your way as a young person in these scary times are connecting on a universal scale. With the prominent Kerrang! Radio DJ Johnny Doom believing they are ‘poised to takeover the world’ – with this album, they may just do that!
