West Midlands garage rockers ready debut record

Blues-rock upstarts Superhooch have just released their debut offering, ‘The Viscous E.P’.

Recorded in Coventry at Moonbase Studios in just 24 hours, and mastered by acclaimed engineer Ed Woods (The Who / Manic Street Preachers / Biffy Clyro / Wilko Johnson).

The five piece from Coventry have also just released their first video, for the track “Tamed,” and tell us: “Two guitars, drums and bass, a singer’s voice that’ll melt your face, fuzz, feedback and almighty riffs! Fusing blues, garage rock, stoner and psychadelia, Superhooch (featuring former and current members of Lipshock, Monochrome State, and Octogoth) are deep in preparations for their live launch!

They describe ‘The Viscous E.P’ as: “a visceral assault of stoner-rock riffs, anthemic choruses, sizzling guitar licks, dirty bass and tight drum grooves: Ideal for fans of Clutch, Black Sabbath and QOTSA.” Which, you have to say, sounds cool, huh?
