IT’S A STEEL

Following the disappointment of having to postpone the 2020 event, Steelhouse Festival have come back in the best possible way… by announcing a huge headline act for the 2021 edition. So, without further ado: Steelhouse is delighted to announce that the mighty Anthrax will ‘Bring The Noise’ to the top of the mountain, headlining on Saturday 24 July.  Tickets are on sale now, weekend earlybird tickets are available for just £95 until November 30th

Anthrax‘s Charlie Benante said, “We are all so excited to get back at what we do best – THRASH FOR ALL OUR FRIENDS! Can’t wait to see you U.K.! Been too long”.

As well as AnthraxSteelhouse happily welcome to the 2021 bill Therapy?  The Northern Irish power trio are celebrating their 30th anniversary with a first trip to the mountain. It promises to be a combustible set packed with punk metal  anthems such as ‘Nowhere’, ‘Screamager’ and ‘Diane’…

Therapy‘s Andy Cairns said, “Very excited to be coming to The Steelhouse Mountain. A wonderful gig in a country close to our hearts. It’ll be an honour to play with Anthrax, a legendary band who had a big impact on us when we first heard them. Rydym yn hapus!”

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, there is also a raft of fantastic acts joining the bill.  Step forward Mason Hill, Howling Tides, Matt Mitchell & the Coldhearts and Empyre!

Promoters Mikey Evans and Max Rhead said, “Having such a genre-defining band headline Steelhouse is huge – one of the Big Four no less. Anthrax helped propel the music we love into something heavier, faster and harder. Their place in the history of all things metal is assured…Next year they’ll make the trip up The Mountain… We couldn’t be more excited… ‘It’s a Steelhouse, or so they claim!’

“Of course, as is the way with Steelhouse, it’s always important for us to feature the best new bands out there. Mason Hill keep going from strength to strength, you can sense the momentum they have and we’re delighted to have them back alongside SH debutants: Empyre, The Howling Tides and Matt Mitchell & The Coldhearts …

“And finally we have Therapy? What more could you ask for from a special guest spot. It’s all about song power and they’re loaded with them. PLUS we’ve still got plenty to come!”

Steelhouse is ready to roar back in 2021 to thrill the faithful crowds that grace the mountain with their presence each year. This fallow year has been used to further upgrade the site and the facilities to ensure that 2021 will be the best ever.  With Anthrax in place, Steelhouse Festival guarantees to deliver both ‘A Fistful Of Metal’ and indeed ‘A State Of Euphoria’.
