Over To Rew

Published:

Hotly tipped rock duo Rews have released their new single, ‘Your Tears’, which is taken from their upcoming debut album Pyro.

The album is released on November 3rd on Marshall Records and was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Pre-orders available here.

‘Your Tears’ is a raw, riff-driven anthem burgeoning with distorted guitar and thunderous drums, seething through an infectious chorus into a deadly breakdown. Kerrang! magazine have described it as, “Lush melodies meet hooky guitars on this newie from the alt.rock duo”.

Lead singer/guitarist Shauna Tohill comments, “‘Your Tears’ paints a broad colourful brushstroke of our Rews sound and style! It is dynamic, high energy rock, rhythmic and laced with pop sensibilities that allow people to get involved and sing and dance along. We LOVE playing this one live!”

Drummer Collette Williams continues, “‘Your Tears’ is the adrenaline driven, musical rendition of the boy who cried Wolf”

The track is the third to be taken from their highly-anticipated debut album and follows the singles ‘Miss You In The Dark’ and ‘Shine’, which have been met with great acclaim.

‘Shine’ has been a staple on both Kerrang Radio and Planet Rock and played on Radio X and Radio 1, where they were named as Huw Stephens’ ‘Track Of The Week’.

Rews have already had a jam-packed year, playing various festivals and showcases across the country to expectant crowds and rapturous response including a critically acclaimed performance on the John Peel Stage at this summer’s Glastonbury Festival. BBC 6 Music’s Mark Radcliffe named the band as one of his highlights of the festival live on BBC TV’s Glastonbury coverage, describing them as a “female Royal Blood”.

Rews will be finishing the year with a 16 date UK headline tour starting in November. See full dates below.
