New Orleans hardcore/punk band PEARS are set to release a split album with DIRECT HIT, coinciding with their tour support of RISE AGAINST (dates below).

Human Movement is to be released on November 03 via Fat Wreck Chords. The twelve-track scorcher features five new songs from each band, and two covers – each band covering the other.

Pre-orders are available from iTunesBandcamp, Fat Wreck Chords’ European webstore or Australian webstore. With each pre-order you’ll get an instant download of a song from each band.

The news of the split comes ahead of PEARS opening run touring with the legendary Rise Against:

01.11.17               Birmingham, O2 Academy
04.11.17               Leeds, O2 Academy
05.11.17               London, O2 Academy Brixton
06.11.17               Dublin, The Academy
08.11.17               Newcastle, O2 Academy

Although only forming in 2014, PEARS have already achieved an impressive amount. Self-releasing debut LP Go To Prison that year, the band were soon signed to the iconic Fat Wreck Chords, who re-issued the album in 2015.

Not content to rest, the band immediately followed up with the acclaimed Green Star (2016), further adding to the band’s loyal cult following. Well known for their relentless touring schedule, PEARS have previously played alongside Strung Out on their Australian tour, as well as with NOFX and Chicago’s Riot Fest.

PEARS are:
Jarret Nathan – Drums
Zach Quinn – Vocals
Brian Pretus – Guitar/Vocals
Erich Goodyear – Bass
