Thunder are delighted to announce that they will perform one of their now-legendary Christmas shows in London at The Roundhouse on Friday 21 December 2018. A limited number of VIP packages will go on sale Thursday 28 June and the general on sale will be Friday 29 June: tickets will be on sale from 0900 each day from

Danny Bowes, Thunder’s frontman said, “Everyone who knows anything about Thunder knows that these Christmas shows are special, shall we say somewhat unscripted! I can also say that, whilst we have some very special live dates for early 2019 in the planning (and I’m happy to reveal that they represent something a little bit different for the band), there won’t be a London show amongst them – so, for all our fans in the capital, if you want to see the band there, this is your only chance for quite a while.”

The Christmas show will be a great way to close out what’s already been another successful year. The band’s live concert film ‘Stage’ – released in March through earMUSIC – hit number 1 in the UK charts and at one point was simultaneously: #1 Music Video, #1 Music DVD, #1 Music Blu-ray. This, of course, follows the success of the last album ‘Rip It Up’ which hit number 3 in the UK album charts, giving the band their highest chart placing in 22 years. 2018 has already seen the band tour Japan and Europe, take to the waves on the Monsters Of Rock Cruise, and perform once again at Download.

So, what better way to herald the arrival of Christmas than in the company of Messrs Danny Bowes, Luke Morley, Ben Matthews, Chris Childs and Harry James? Last year’s shows in Wolverhampton sold out very quickly so, to drop the obligatory Xmas pun, there’s no time like the Present!
