With the release of their anticipated new studio album “Sliver & Gold” just one week away, legendary Swedish rockers BACKYARD BABIES are now launching the third single ’44 Undead’ off of the album, along with an official music video for the track.
’44 Undead’ is an anthemic, yet somewhat melancholic tune that showcases a more introverted side of the Backyard Babies, as opposed to the first two party smasher singles off of “Sliver & Gold” so far. Its memorable hook lines are sure to be stuck in your head for a while and have ‘instant fan favourite’ written all over it.
More than three years have passed since their last studio album “Four By Four”, but 2019 sees Nicke, Dregen, Johan and Peder return to celebrate their 30thanniversary in style with a brand new record entitled “Sliver & Gold” which is due to be released on 01 March 2019 via Century Media Records. In celebration of the bands anniversary, Century Media is releasing both limited formats as special editions that will come wrapped in gold foil and include five newly recorded acoustic bonus songs!

While catchy sing-a-long smashers like the first single ‘Shovin’ Rocks’, album opener ‘Good Morning Midnight’, the anthemic ‘Bad Seeds’ or ’44 Undead’ will have you fist-pumping and footstompin’ along with your left foot in a cowboy boot and your right paw in a Chuck Taylor sneaker, the beautiful ballad-like album closer ‘Laugh Now, Cry Later’ will cause you to shed a tear or two into your Jack and Coke. What a ride!
